Need-based aid
Institutional financial aid is given out based on a student’s need. The Ivy Grant can only be used for tuition and is computed based on a student’s estimated financial need. An applicant for this grant must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid in order to be considered (FAFSA External link). The FAFSA will be used to determine the anticipated family contribution (EFC) for the student. This will be taken into account, along with any other scholarships and awards from Columbia College, to assess whether the student still has any unmet needs.
Federal & State Financial Aid
Students may also be eligible for federal and state financial assistance. A student must submit the FAFSA in order for this aid to be considered for eligibility. Federal and state financial help will be applied to your student account before institutional aid, as stated in each scholarship area.
